Zipperly Challenged

The weather here has been unseasonably cold and wet, and quite frankly, I'm really tired of it. I feel like we kind of skipped the beautiful part of fall and went straight to the freezing cold and windy part of fall that immediately precedes winter. In my effort to bundle up and stay warm, I've been reaching for my favorite sweatshirt--the one with the broken zipper that I eulogized last year. I should have probably just thrown it in the trash at the time, since a new zipper would probably cost more than the jacket is worth, but I missed it so much and couldn't find a suitable replacement. I kept wearing it around the house, thinking I'd eventually take it to a seamstress, but of course never got it done. After a while I realized that the zipper would actually work--just with a bit of...work. Tonight when I put on my favorite sweatshirt to go for a walk, I thought I would demonstrate for you the struggle I must go through every time I want to wear this comfy piece of clothing.

Is that not ridiculous? Seriously, what is wrong with me? I just love that thing so much I'm willing to do what it takes, I guess. Someone remind me to go get it fixed over the weekend!!!

Hey, everyone sometime should have a piece of clothing that you wear until it crumbles. Go get the ziper fixed and enjoy!! I have a pair of jeans that I wear around the house and garden. (May be I should have a patches on my knees.) It was fun to see how you got out of it too. =)
