California Pictures, Take One

In case it wasn't obvious before, it most certainly will be now--I'm officially a picture addict. I just got finished describing the first batch of pictures from our trip, and after deleting some that were pretty worthless duplicates, there are still over 200 pictures in the batch! This was just the first 3 days of our trip. I'm totally out of control. I have so many pictures on my Picasa page (which is actually associated with Chad's Gmail account), even after deleting tons of pictures in the last several months, I still have so many on the site I can't upload any more with paying for extra storage. It's insane. I had to start using the picture space for my Gmail account instead since I'm way too cheap to actually pay for the service! I'm kind of thinking maybe I should have just posted them on Flickr since every picture I see on Flickr looks a million times more brilliant than mine do on Picasa! I just don't like way you navigate through pictures on Flickr--it feels backwards to me!

Anyway, as I was writing captions for all of these pictures I began to realize how utterly absurd it was that I'd taken so many. They're probably going to be so not exciting to anyone who wasn't there. So many pictures of the ocean look exactly the same! Regardless, I'm sure someday I'll appreciate having the descriptions of where we were and what we were doing, even if no one else appreciates it!
